CATERING

We will provide food three times a day for everybody at the Europe Center. All meals are included in the course price. Our cooks aim to bring you wonderful food from all our sanghas around the world. So please remember to bring your plates and cutlery along. There will also be an onsite shop where you can buy a variety of goods.

CHILDCARE

We will provide childcare for children four to twelve years old, as well as for older children thirteen to eighteen years old, in a designated area onsite. Our aim is to make the course more affordable and convenient for families. In order to make that possible we will need the support of all parents.

HELP

If you would like to help setting up the course, in the building-up or dissolving phases, write to helpers@international-summercourse.org. During the course, everything from cooking lunch to decorating the gompa is undertaken with joyful effort by the full-time volunteer teams, supported by part-time helpers. If you have the surplus to spend an hour or two supporting the course, stop by the Job Center, in the Dining Tent.

TRANSLATIONS

The entire course (including Phowa) will be given in English. Translation into all necessary languages will be provided on site. Please, bring your own radios in order to receive the translation in your own language. You can also rent radios onsite.

MEET & CONNECT

This year people can meet together and exchange information in a much more relaxed and informal setting. Please bring your practical ideas for how to develop the Europe Center project here.

PARKING AND SHUTTLE SERVICE (tel.: +49 (0)157-75 28 82 85)

You can reach our beautiful EC only via the shuttle service. Private cars or buses cannot directly access the EC. There will be an official course car park called ”Viehmarktpatz P3“ (available from Aug 3), for cars as well as buses. From this car park – located in Immenstadt – a continuous shuttle service will bring you and your luggage directly to the course.

  • The price for the shuttle will be € 1,- per trip.
  • The price for parking will be € 2,- per day.

Although the car park is quite big it might be the case that it cannot accommodate all vehicles, especially if everybody arrives with their own car. If possible, please come via train to Immenstadt.
