SHUTTLE, ARRIVING AND PARKING INFORMATION

Dearest friends,
The Europe Center site is amazingly beautiful but it does have its limitations. Due to its historical and environmental significance and in order to preserve the nature surrounding the Europe Center, the local government has placed restrictions on us. We chose to buy this beautiful place and there is simply no place there for cars. This means that during the entire course no private cars will be driven to the site. We want this, the neighbors want this and the local government wants this:

No private cars or motorbikes will be allowed on the Europe Center property during the course.
We ask you to use only the two car parks that we have rented for the course.
Our rented parking space is limited, so we strongly suggest that you come by train or chartered BUSES FROM YOUR CENTERS or countries.
To keep you mobile and happy, we have organized a super park and shuttle service. You can reach our beautiful EC only via our shuttle service from either of our parking places in Immenstadt.

We have rented two large car parks for you:
a. "P3 Viehmarktplatz" is located 100 meters from the railway station. Follow the official city signs "P3 Viehmarkplatz".
b. "Car park" is located on the outskirts of Immenstadt in the direction of Kempten, Please follow our private signs.

Arrival and Departure

P3 is only for:

Buses from all countries and centers
These buses will be guided directly up to EC. You will leave your bus at EC's entrance in front of the Welcome and registration tent.
People arriving by train at the Immenstadt train station walk 100 meters to the shuttle bus.
People coming by plane will reach P3 either by taxi or by train.
All other means of transport will also reach the shuttle at P3 (motorcycles, bikes, skates etc.)
People commuting from work, home, hotels or pensions in the area

Important for your bus organization:

If you come by chartered buses please inform us:

Which day and time you will arrive and which day and time you will leave.
Who the contact person for organizing buses is, name and telephone number.

Arrival for the program with H.H. Gyalwa Karmapa from the 21st to the 24th of August.

Please plan your travel so that your bus arrives on Wednesday the 20th of August between 18°° and 22°° in Immenstadt at P3. From here we will guide your bus up to the EC and the traffic on the narrow country roads will be lighter in the evening.

Car Park - for long and short term parking

Arrival and Departure.

The car park is for private cars

All those who come by private car and sleep in tents at the EC, whether you stay for one night or the entire course.

From the car park we will shuttle you up to Europe Center.
There will always be someone at the Car Park to greet you when you arrive.

Our Shuttle Services:

Will pick you up upon your arrival at P3 or the Car Park every day.

Welcome at P3:

Our international team will warmly welcome you at P3 in our Welcome tent. Here you can relax with cup of water, tea or coffee. We will provide you with basic information about the course, the surrounding area and our shuttle service schedule.

In case of bad weather you can shelter your luggage in the Welcome tent. There also will be toilets at the P3 parking place.

Daily regular shuttle service with large city buses:
Between P3 and the EC and back

For people coming by car from the surrounding area (hotels, campgrounds or towns and centers near by) leave your car at P3 and you will be shuttled up to the EC.
For people arriving by train at the Immenstadt train station. Just walk 100 meters to the shuttle bus at P3.
Schedule:
Every morning: 7:00 until 9:00
Every evening: 23:00 until 0:30

Daily shuttle service with our 8-seat buses:
Between P3 and the EC and back

For people who need to go into the city of Immenstadt
Schedule:
Every 30 minutes from 10:00 until 23:00.

Daily service with the night bus:
Between P3 and the EC and back

For people who want to spend more time with friends after the teachings
Schedule:
Every night from 1:00 until 3:00

Prices for parking and shuttle

Although we must rent shuttle buses from bus companies we decided to make the shuttle service free of charge.

Only our day and night shuttle with our 8 seat busses cost € 1,- person/way.
For parking the price makes € 2,- car/day.
